We drove from Teslin to Beaver Creek in the Yukon today. We watched Elk and Big Horned Sheep and the temperature which rose and fell.
Stopped at White Horse and found a Tim Hortons for some timbits and tea. There was a pink sunrise and a peach sunset, the same majestic colors that we’ve seen on the entire length of our journey. We saw glaciers and trees and roads leading off miles and miles into the distance.
But today was the day of mountains. Beautiful, giant mountains. Mountains that rise above forests of thick dark trees. Mountains that meet glaciers. Mountains that fall to frozen, reflective waters, frozen and serene. Mountains that reflected all of the colors of the day.
Once again, there really are no words, but there are pictures. So, here they are. From Teslin to Beaver Creek in the Yukon- the Alaskan Highway.
